I’ve tried several RAMDisk softwares before I found one that were free and worked under Windows 10 64-Bit.
The RAMDisk I use is called ImDisk Toolkit, and I find it pretty much perfect. It got plenty of features which should cover pretty much every users needs.
It might also save a lot of write cycles on your precious SSDs. 😉
You can set it up to mount ISO-files and other image file formats if you want to.
Or setup a folder on one of your hard drives and have the content inside it copied to the RAMDisk every time you boot up your PC.
It can also be setup to save the stuff you currently got stored on the RAMDisk to a directory of your choice before you shut down your PC.
You can download ImDisk Toolkit here!
Ubuntu version 8.04 (Hardy Heron) was released today. Ubuntu is a free operating system. You can do pretty much anything you can do in Windows in Ubuntu. Surf the web, listen to music and watch movies… If you haven’t tried Ubuntu yet I suggest you give it a shot! You don’t even have to install it on your harddrive!
Just download the ISO-file and boot from the CD.
CCleaner is a program that will help you to remove a lot of junk files that you and your system doesn’t need anymore. It will free up hard drive space which will make your computer a bit faster. CCleaner can also optimize your Windows Registry which will also boost the performance of your computer.
I got some other features that you really should checkout too. Remember to make a restore point before using CCleaner. Nothing have ever gone wrong for me, but do it just in case.
The thing about CCLeaner is that it is using many of Windows own features but they’re just collected under one application.
For cleaning up old Windows temporary files and such, click on start and paste this command and hit your enter button:
However, a lot of people prefer CCLeaner since it’s really simple to use and you can download and install it within some seconds.
